Is It Time to Renew and Refresh Your Marriage?
You want to have a marriage relationship that is deeply connected, deeply passionate, and deeply purposed. Through the years, you have weathered the hills and valleys, and faced the challenges of life together with a fair amount of courage and hope. You even consider your relationship to be “pretty good.” And yet, perhaps you still find yourself asking, “Is there something more?”
Join us for a 3-day marriage journey designed to awaken you once again to the true connection God designed for you to have with one another. This is not a marriage retreat where you merely sit and listen to speakers and hope to glean some tips and techniques. No, this is an experience architected for you and your spouse to engage and encounter one another in new and loving ways.
Led by Tracy Johnson, Story Coach at Restoration Counseling and Founder and Editor-in-Chief of RedTentLiving.com, and Chris Bruno, LPC, Founder and CEO of Restoration Counseling and Restoration Project, this journey is limited to 6 married couples who know they want more. We will have large group teaching and small group experiences, and provide individualized marriage counseling to guide you along the way. Each couple will also have ample time to restore, reflect and reconnect.

Frequently Asked Questions:
WHO IS THIS EXPERIENCE DESIGNED FOR?
The ReConnect marriage experience is designed for couples who long for more. The closeness and connectedness in their marriage has yet to dive to the depths they know is possible, and they long to discover all God has for them. This experience is NOT for couples who are in crisis, find themselves at the precipice of separation or divorce, and could view this as a “last ditch effort” to recover. If this is the case, we highly recommend a personalized marriage intensive. More information can be found here.
What are the exact start and finish times of the experience?
We will begin promptly at 7 p.m. on Wednesday evening, April 24, and will end no later than 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 27. Couples are encouraged to stay through the weekend to enjoy Austin to the fullest!
Do we need a car? What airport do we fly into?
Technically, you could get around with Uber or Lyft. However, it may be easier to rent a car to provide you with transport to lunches and your evening excursions. The best airport is the Austin International Airport.
How should we prepare?
Great question! Each couple should read Dan Allender and Tremper Longman’s short book called “Intimate Mystery.” You are free to pick up your own copy, or you can buy on Amazon right here:
What if we want to come with some friends as well? Can we be in the same small group?
Yes! Of course. Please have each couple register separately, and then have each couple email Chris Bruno at firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm mutual desire. That’s awesome!
We already work with a marriage counselor. Can we still come?
Yes! Of course! We often work with couples who are already doing good work with a marriage counselor, but want to supplement their progress with additional resources and experiences. If you’d like and with your written consent, we can collaborate with your counselor. Just let us know.
