Register Now for Re|Story 2.0 Winter 2018

For years, previous Restoration group participants have asked for more.

More time, more space, and more engagement with their own story.

For the first time ever, we are delighted to offer re|story 2.0!

January 16th - March 6th, 4:30-6:00 p.m.
Tuesdays for 8 weeks
Limited to 6 Participants

This group is co-ed, as we honor the relevance and beauty of gender in the process of healing and
the importance of engaging our stories in the context of the greater community.

Additionally, participation in re|story 2.0 requires that you have completed a Restoration Counseling re|story group.
If you have not yet experienced re|story 1.0, please register for it here and begin your journey of group-based story-work.
We will be offering this 2.0 group again in the future!

We yearn to tell and hear stories of goodness and beauty, and this is the echo of God’s intention…But shame wants very much to infect every element of the mind in order to distort God’s story and offer another narrative.
— Curt Thompson, Soul of Shame

Meet the re|story 2.0 Group Facilitator

Terry Bohn, LPC, LMHC

Terry is a Restoration Counseling therapist, has served men, women and couples for over ten years, and remains fascinated about stories of all kinds. He has an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School, serves as the CO Alumni Hub facilitator, has led and participated in community/life small groups for fifteen years, and has partnered with diverse clients navigating complex change for almost three decades.

Terry loves everything about Colorado, the great outdoors, road cycling, photojournalism, roasting his own coffee, classic films, potluck dinners and engaging conversation.

What does participating in a re|story 2.0 group entail?

Following their first re|story group experience, each group member will continue to author a single, in-depth narrative from their life: a pivotal event or hinge-moment that has come to have significant meaning, power, and frequently profound heartache.

Every week before group, the facilitator will share his observations with the author offline, prompting the participant to engage a deeper curiosity, honesty and imagination. Then, inside the group setting, the author will read their story, with the author, members and facilitator sharing their own experiences, insights, wonder and invitation for a new story to be written.
