FORI is designed to be a restorative experience. FORI is a collaborative effort between several agencies/ organizations, including the Larimer County District Attorney's office, Fort Collins Police Department, Larimer County Sheriff, Restoration Counseling and local anti-trafficking organizations.
In many cases, participants who complete the FORI course and receive a certificate of completion may have their charges reduced or dismissed.
Over the last several years, FORI has provided a safe and shame-free space for men to discover more about the sex industry, and learn about demand reduction. In every economy, there is both supply and demand. Wherever there is a supply of exploited women and children, there is demand to buy sex.
FORI is one aspect of the efforts in Northern Colorado to eradicate human trafficking in our area by reducing demand.
FORI is facilitated by the Restoration Counseling Center of Northern Colorado, a local center committed to the reduction of human trafficking and prostitution in our area. Speakers and trainers are professionals in this field, including law enforcement, medical professionals, licensed counselors and anti-trafficking leaders.
FORI is 100% confidential, and complies with HIPPA privacy practices. No participant information is ever shared.
The course runs from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m., with breaks between sections and a lunch break (no lunch provided). Participants must actively participate in all sections of the course in order to receive the Certificate of Completion.
Payment is due at the time of registration. Registration is required to attend. For those with financial hardship, pre-payment plans may be available. Please contact our office. A portion of this fee will be donated to local anti-trafficking efforts.

Realities of human trafficking and prostitution in Northern Colorado
