professional COUNSELOR/

Welcome! Let me be the first to say that I am glad your curiosity and courage have brought you this far in your pursuit of counseling. I believe strongly that engaging in counseling is not a matter of weakness or deficiency, but rather a matter of strength and grit, hopefulness and appetite. So, welcome to the table. I am thrilled you are here!

I graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in human nutrition and shortly after, became a registered dietitian. After years of working with clients regarding health, body image, self-care, and worth, I decided to seek further training in counseling at Denver Seminary. My work experience in the field of dietetics showed me the critical nature of being altogether healthy- not just physically healthy, but mentally, emotionally, and spiritually healthy as well.

So! That is my hope for you. That you would be able to experience whole and holy living. That by participating in the hard work of vulnerability, authenticity, reflection, and adjustment, you might come to know life and have it in abundance. It is my great privilege to partner with you, cheer you on, and encourage you in this life changing pursuit.

My Approach

As you and I walk through the counseling process together, two things are really important to me. First, that you feel safe and second, that you feel known. My hope is that as our relationship grows, you will feel secure enough to safely risk being vulnerable, being honest, and being truly seen. I believe that our authentic and mutual relationship will serve to catalyze personal growth, increase self-understanding, and optimize healing.

My Credentials

Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate, Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies, 8/15/2018-8/15/2022, Permit Number: LPCC.0016265

M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary, Denver, CO, CACREP Accredited Program, 2018
B.S. in Food Science and Human Nutrition from Colorado State University, Fort Collins, CO, 2012

Who Am I? What Is My Narrative?

Just like you, I am on a continuous journey of uncovering the truest parts of my self that have been hidden, hurt, or silenced in the process of life. I am learning through scripture, through people, and through a sense of peace and joy that a greater story is being told all the time on my behalf.
